This Torres Quevedo project aims to develop and optimize sensitive and selective chromatographic methods (HPLC-DAD and HPLC-MS/MS) for the determination of glucocorticoids used in the treatment of asthmatic patients and their main metabolites, for application to urine samples. and plasma in routine clinical practice. In addition, the design and development of a rapid and simple analytical method is proposed, based on specific antibodies using the lateral flow immunochromatography (LFIA) technique and its application for monitoring adherence to the most widely used inhaled glucocorticoids.
